Re: Right to know location of Traffic Citation

I'm not sure what the level of detail is required in terms of location on the ticket. Usually, the nearest intersection is indicated, but I don't think it's a fatal flaw..

A "cross road" is not required on the offence notice it did not happen on another road. Only time I ever see a 2nd road is an intersection offence (ie stop sign, traffic light ...

I think so, too. It's the content of the document that's important, not the document itself in this case.
The JP will have the regulation with him/her.....think all you would have to do is to refer to the regulation and section...JP will look up the book version right then and there

First off, your ex would have to be in court to testify. The fact that he was arrested for obstruction is not helping crown's case against you.
The ex has nothing to do with the HTA offence to the driver

To play Devils advocate couldn't you just have moved to the other lane and let the following vehicle pass?

and /or taken your foot off the accelerator, gradually slowing from your original speed and even signal to the right indicating you are going onto the shoulder, letting the vehicle go by and if need be, stopping on the shoulder for a few ...

And if so, it would appear that this officer's shift was at least 10 hours long; is that probable ?

If those who know about the FLSA loophole and work to convict people despite that fact should instead work on cleaning up their own act and update the signs so that the signs themselves are conformant to the law they uphold.!

How do you know thats what LIDAR the officer was using? If it was mounted on a tripod the range will be better. .

I know of 2 models that end with LTI 20-20. There might be more.

Lidar on a tripod is not a better range per se, but easier to hold steady and focus on vehicles farther away.

I don't know what to do, honestly, except bring it to the requisite enforcement agencies and show them the paperwork at the weight stations (I don't even know if they'd know what to look at or if they would not care and still say you're license was suspended and therefore you are in violation).

It is not an enforcement issue (which the MTO TIS ...

I'll guess that the prosecution misplaced the disclosure. There are so many cases the disclosure might have inadvertently been filed for trial on another day and not in the pile for today.
