The spotter in the aircraft probably works in several different regions, meaning he'd have fewer available dates to attend Court compared to an officer who works strictly in one region.
That was the case when the program was introduced, but now I think each detachment has several observers (spotters). The aircraft flies into the local airport and ...

I still don't understand though why prosecutor set one week limit to his bargain? My next court date is in June. Is that sort of pressure or smth . like that? I am trying to guess his intentions which could be useful if I decide to continue this game.

I'm asking because, aside from personal curiosity, the OP mentioned that the extra space was for a bus stop. Some of those, especially in Mississauga and some other areas, are painted with a solid white line with the words "BUS ONLY". I'm guessing this is backed up in the city bylaws..

As for the vehicle that passed the school bus on the right, that is legal since the bus was signalling to turn left.
Can you use lanes designated for specific traffic (bus only, right turn only, bicycle only, etc) in order to pass? Section 150 doesn't really specify how you pass the vehicle in terms of marked lanes.

With a marked unit all police would stop no matter who patrols that particular road.
If no police on scene it normally is called into police via 911 to the dispatch. The call taker will enter the road and maybe a cross road and it instantly tells what "police service" patrols that particular area. The entry on the computer screen is instantly sent ...

Like Admin says, you are guaranteed the freedom to travel. As long as you have some mode of transportation available to you, I don't think your rights have been violated. Common law and the Charter's Mobility Rights only allow you to travel freely; they are not a guarantee that all modes of transportation be available to you.

If recall correctly...December of 2002 is when the law came into place. At that time there was wide spread media on the move over law. The law was also published in many licence/renewal sticker packages, that most people just pull out the main portion and chuck the new info.
Part of the law is that "if" you can not move over, you "must" slow down ...

Temperature is not the "outdoor" temperature either for using the device.
I have yet to experience cold or heat of -30 +60 inside the cruiser.
And sure am not sticking my self outside in either of those temps either.

Also, before the speeding ticket, I did not know what Option 3 meant. When I told the officer it was my first speeding ticket he said, 'I know, just choose option 3 and you'll be fine (reinforced by a hand gesture which typically meant and I read as "Oh, don't worry"). Yes ABS does work on ice, snow etc....can hear it activate with a "griding" type noise and feel the brake pedal pulsate also.
