I don't really think it matters that the person was a school teacher, priest, mortician, doctor, lawyer, sanitary technician etc...all would have been treated the same.
Reference the car crushing....there has been no crushed cars since the revamped Bill 203 that came in effect 30 September 2007. So ...

I have been coming to this site for more than 2 days. I'm sure a vast majority can attest to my neutral and open comments and further understanding that motorists have. I further was invited to this site, due to my neutral comments and understanding by none other than Bookm himself and I appreciate same.

I understand and appreciate the frustration, mindset on some people's part about how the law was written, however, put the blame game on the correct people who put the law into place, not my fellow brothers and sisters out doing our jobs.

A lot of residents in my area, contact our office and ask us to sit on their property, they are tired of almost being hit/run over by people driving too fast, losing control and taking out their trees, gardens and crops.

That case law is so full of BS. Particularily like the part, does not matter whether the person speaks french or not....that makes it even worse.
Person certainly would have obeyed the sign if if would have been to their benefit...ie free gas

Can Ontario Canadian's get Demerit Points for Out of Province Offences while driving in the United States?
Yes! However, only TWO states can apply Demerit Points towards your Ontario Drivers License. The State of New York, and the State of Michigan.

I do not have to make it work at roadside at all. As long as I can convince the court the purpose of the device. Some SMWD I can not get to work ever again, as I have "cut the cord"....others have been just the "display" as the horn portion is hidden in the front of the car.
This of course goes with my experience, I average 100-150 seizures a year ...

It is advised that you travel "X" speed due to the curve although the maximum posted speed limit is still "Y".

Common geographical features such as a crown in the road or a bend in the road could quite easily exclude the cosine factor from the equation. Of course we have no idea of the topography in this case, but I doubt the officer will remember it either, 6 months down the road ;)]
A hill will not eliminate cosine. A curve will only eliminate cosine ...

One motorist was luckier than *EDIT* the other night. Clocked at 164km/hr, just caught a glimpse of me and started braking, I was delayed on getting out behind due to a transport starting to pass. I called ahead to 2 units. Lost site due to a curve in the road. Co-worker stopped the vehicle just past the curve now at 129km/hr.

Re: going 50 over the limit
Tager's boyfriend had his car impounded because the officers speed equipment displayed 51kph over the limit. I doubt ANY manufacturers manual will claim to be more accurate than 2kph (as per the Pro Laser III manual) so it's quite possible he was doing 49kph over the limit. So, sure, he should have received a hefty fine, but not the extreme ...
