92km In A 60

by: cb450sc on

Hi All

First time post. As per title I was ticketed for going 92km in a 60km zone. I understand that I will now have 4 demerit points against me. More importantly... will this have any effect on my class E bus license?

Hi,

You have just one drivers licence, all demerit points will go against your licence, not the class!

So I say Fight it

CB, you are likely concerned about the impact of this charge on your insurance and your employment. Both can be affected. You won't have a clean driver's abstract if you apply for work elsewhere. Insurance companies can count either convictions or demerit points or both.

It's in your interest to fight the ticket. It can't get any worse and you have nothing to loose at this point.
