Could you point me to the section specifically referring to proper mounting/displaying of the plates other than what's in 13? It doesn't seem very specific, and I'd like to know more about the letter/application of the law in case I ever want to customise my bike or in case I purchase an already customised used bike.
Speaking of which, what's the ...

Re: New Stunting Laws - Is there any hope?
2) 6. Driving a motor vehicle while the driver is not sitting in the drivers seat. As a motorcycle rider, often going on long trips, the MTO's own Motorcycle Handbook recommends standing up on the pegs to stretch the legs and rest the posterior. This "anti-ghostriding" provision could easily result in impoundment of my vehicle and suspension of my ...

Re: Failing to stop when requested by a police officer
Police have to be readily identifiable as such.....flashing red/blues activated.
Would not see how an unmarked, no uniform person with a wallet, showing some sort of badge would try to stop someone.
Oncoming cruiser and no lights on and uturns, again no requirement to stop.......if the cruiser activates lights approaching you there is a ...

No. A statement by a witness in a collision or to another person in a vehicle is not a witness for the prosecution, therefore no statement was taken.

Re: Fail to change address on driver licence
Sounds like the licence was expired.
go to the MTO and renew the licence
- A person only has 6 days to notify the Ministry of a change of address or change of name on their licence and ownership. While at the MTO update the address as well.

Re: Section 172 of Highway Traffic Act (Sunts) - Examination
Now in the case of a multi-lane highway - what if the person in the left lane was going, say, just 5 km/h slower than traffic to the right? Cars behind them wouldn't be able to wait their turn, as the lead car isn't even passing vehicles. Could they be charged under S. 172, or would it be 147 or 148 instead?
If you are in the left and being ...

Re: Section 172 of Highway Traffic Act (Sunts) - Examination
Today after looking at the section 172 i noticed a few things. For one street racing is under Stunts as other said. Which means the media is terrible and Fantino sold us this under lies.

How do you figure that?tdrive2 wrote: In fact this law lets the real street racers off the ones who should be charged with careless driving, this stunt racing law lets them off easier!.
Careless = $325 and 6 points

think the only thing you might see is the "impoundment" portion. I can see the licence suspension remaining in affect, it is similiar based as the 90 day ADLS which has been around for years.

Re: Driver clocked at 250 km/h
F/A-18 fighter pilots can do mach 1.8 (1900km/h) while processing many different factors from their telemetry equipment, radio, weapons systems, and the environment.
Not downplaying your points but jet pilots don't have to worry about hitting an animal 3/4 the size of some cars, moose in northern Ontario ring a bell. I do agree with the fact ...
