Bear, could you please clarify the outdistancing part? Would that include a legitimate pass?
2 vehicles side by side and the other pulls away is outdistancing.....this is actually under the "racing" definition area, so there would be two vehicles involved.
Don't think this would apply to passing on a highway, but could a passing vehicle be ...

So if there's an accident with enough of a head impact to deform the lining, I wouldn't be able to ride the bike home (assuming both the bike and I don't sustain any serious injuries) because the helmet would technically be "damaged"?
I wouldn't ride a bike with a wrecked helmet, unless it was at low speeds and at the side of the road ...
