Re: swapping number plates question
txs Bend,
actually after writing the post, I saw that on the on-line form it should show me if it's available
txs again,
Is it against forum rules or illegal to ask maybe someone in LEO can check for me offline if a personalized plate is in use;
You can order a personalized plate online. You just need your Ontario license on hand. Last time ...

swapping number plates question
so I want to put a change my existing number plate (with plate sticker) for a personalized one.
No rush, but trying to work out the best way to do this.
So
1: the existing plate has say (6 months of sticker left on it)
When I go to the vehicle center to get a new plate, what happens to the existing sticker on it?
* will I have to pay for a new ...

Re: T-boned at all way stop intersection, I was given a tick
I agree but a witness in your car is a friend/family member, do you think that they are going to be impartial?
I wouldn't side with another car driver if I was in the car with my wife? Or admit it was our fault.
Maybe the case of a taxi driver or something possibly?
But I'm certainly hearing you

^^^ that exactly, wife had a car accident a while ago; insurance wouldn't take her passengers side as evidence as it needed to be totally independantscreeech wrote:They did not take a statement from your girlfriend as she was not an independent witness...had nothing to do with race...

gate, horse and bolted.... Dashcam never fails,
other than that, somone will be along to give some advise,
sorry to hear your accident;
getting a ticket after that (if that is what happened) is adding insult to injury !

WHAT? unless your part machine/robot/cyborg then ,
NO-ONE is a vehicle, you might want to look up a dictionary definition.
"a thing used for transporting people or goods, especially on land, such as a car, truck, or cart."

Re: Driving While Suspended
it very much depends on the insurance company;
most forms I've seen they ask "have you got any convictions in the past 5 years"
as long as you keep your nose clean the rates will go down.

Do some due diligence as well, you can check the online public portal of CPIC to check if an object has been reported stolen by it's serial number;

Stolen property
I wanna buy a second hand laptop from kijiji.
I'm concerned about stolen property or more clearly, getting done for receiving stolen property.
If I do buy something and it turns out to be stolen; I understand it's not mine and would need to be returned,
but would they charge me?
I know someone in the UK who did time for receiving (unknowingly ...

Re: Improper Signage contributing to speed
hey jbill,
I have noticed something similar in Guelph, on a stretch of road one direction is like 70 the other is 50, don't know why, but there you go.
IF the posted speed was 80 and you where doing 95, then you where speeding, mind you your saying your ticket was saying 95 in a 50 as opposed to 95 in an 80,
I think that might be a fatal error ...
