They are all separate.

Do you know your plate frame was the issue? Your charge covers everything from dirty plates to spare tires and bumper bars.

Re: They gave me two days to make a decision

I have a decent explanation with proof.

Do you have a defense or an excuse? Excuses aren't going to take you far in a trial. Keep that in mind when preparing a defense.

Red light camera tickets aren't going to impact your insurance, which is why many here don't really worry about them. They don't know who is driving so you can have piece of ...

Re: Question regarding red light camera

Red light camera will go off when the light is red, your vehicle is behind the line, and then proceeds to pass the line. It will give you an amount of time on how long the light had already been red when your car passes the line (eg. 0.9 seconds)

That being said, you'd need to be in an intersection that takes advantage of red light camera tech ...

Re: How do I make a plea-bargain?

If you already have a court date, you can just show up like you would have normally. If there is room on your charge to offer you a deal, they will do so before they start any trials. You'll have a room full of others with the same trial time as you and you'll all get in line. Offers will be made one after the other.

Any conviction could impact your insurance.

Your provider may choose to ignore your first offense or they may not even notice it till it's gone from your abstract. It depends on the provider.

What you choose to do is up to you. If the points aren't an issue and you have some spare time, request a trial and learn as you go. You'll still be offered ...

Usually you can't just show up with pictures. There's a process with submitting pictures before your trial date that maybe someone else can go through in better detail. Make sure you go through these steps before your date if you plan on bringing photos.

What are my chances of getting the charges dismissed ?

Based on it being a so-called petty ticket? None. Pettiness is subjective to the beholder, that's why the law draws a line in the sand. That line is 7am. Compassion and/or an officers pettiness is not a defense. The question is going to be whether or not you made a right turn after 7am and ...

As previous stated, workers present only impacts your set fine. You're still speeding whether they are there or not, but your fine increases. The extra fine is there for you to be extra cautious, similar to Community Safety Zones.

The temporary speed limit isn't solely dependent on workers being present. Construction brings different conditions to ...

Your demerit points will show up on your abstract the day you are convicted, not charged. If you're a full G license and you're not getting tickets regularly, they are not too much of a big deal either way.

He charged me with 129 km/h but as he has written in his notes I was going 131 km/h.

He reduced it to 129 so the charge comes with 3 demerit points instead of 4. If you're a novice driver without a full G license, the difference would save you a suspension. If that's going to be an issue, it's something to highly consider. Should you go all the ...

Re: Is this cat back exhaust legal in ontario ?

Probably not.

The resonator helps get rid of high tin can raspy noise you hear from some cars. The muffler will take care of the rest.

Make sure you're not tempted to start touching your cat converters. It's illegal to run test pipes/long tube header from an emissions standpoint. The sound from the exhaust will also crank up enough to get you ...

From a technical standpoint, yes it would be legal. As long as you're bolting them up straight to a set of catalytic converters and not replacing them with a set of test pipes while you're at it.

That being said, there's a noise factor that is vague. There's no noise chart to go off of in the highway traffic act. If an officer deems the noise to ...
