that case is the defendants not responding and the duty of the Justice to quash the certificate
but someone who appears, and raises the issue of an incorrect fine-the JP then has the power to Amend the ticket as that case deals with defendants whom didnt respond to the charge --or by not appearing.

requirements-there are several maximum driving and minimum off duty time allowed for the day
'Shift'- the work shift starts at the end of 8 consecutive hours of duty and concludes at the beggining of the next 8 consecutive hours off duty

if he shows up to court, depending on the JP---under section 34 of the POA is this amendable? Thats my question.

heres the scenario.

Off-topic, but while Marquisse is gone, shh! - aren't there workplace safety rules against truckers clearing their trailer tops of ice? It's above the height limit where you need to be tied off, and there is no place to tie off to. At least that's what I've heard.

You will have better luck going after your insurance company to cover it under DCPD, especially since you have the plate number and a police report. Quote them everything you can find on commercial (or even non-commercial) vehicles needing to secure their load while on a highway. I am not happy. I spoke with the logistic's manager and basically, he said he wasn't about to set a precedent and pay for my windshield repair and that is what insurance is for. I told him my deductible wouldn't cover it and he said that there was no load on the truck, therefore what I said happened, basically, didn't. Then I got angry.

Would this Province be better off running its own driver exam offices as opposed to having Serco DES ( a UK private company)?
when the Government of Ontario sold off its driver exam centres things went downhill.
Last week they caught some selling fraudulent drivers licences in false names.
not that this hasnt or couldnt happen with the Ministry ...
