I think your first problem is that Blacks is an American Law Dictionary.
Actually the courtsof Canada and America are based on British Law and Blacks law applies to Canada...as does the Bouvier Law dictionary.
But more importantly, you need to look at the relevant Act. Each Act defines the scope and meaning of the terms its using, and its ...

I think more and more judges are beginning to wake up to the fact that they can be held accountable for breaching their oath. Not all judges are immune to prosecution. For example..judges that have been lawyers (which is most judges...lawyers called to the bench) are NOT immune to prosecution.

The society of which I speak is called Canada.

'''I know what you are saying...am I disheartened when I work hard to put a case together to convict a speeding driver (like someone going 160 km/h) and it's tossed cause it took 12 months to get to court? Thank you for your replies.. I looked up the definition of 'vehicle' in the law dictionaries and founf this...so I am still somewhat confused.

Basically any opportunity to get revenue is considered acceptable. I would take the case to a trial and be armed with printout of the weather forecast for that day and also the pics. It is always wise to carry a recording device, preferably one that records visually so that you can keep camera running and effectively do a running video of all the ...

Yes it is standard procedure for any business to deal with the payers first. Those who do not want to pay are made to wait... it's a bit like hospitals taking the paying patients first and those on benefits (non payers) to wait in line for whenever a place/bed is available.

You may think using a notary is overkill...BUT you should realise that a notary has equal powers to a judge !!!

The HTA is an ACT. It is NOT LAW. Acts and statutes are ONLY enforcable as law with the CONSENT of the governed.
If you do not consent you cannot be charged.
When you obtain a Drivers Licence you SIGN it. That is your CONSENT to be governed by the ACT. The reason they are called ACTS is because that is precisely what they are . They are ACTS ...
