Re: obstruct plate

But isn't it deemed to be an offence ? Isn't all statute law supposed to be based on common law to protect rights and freedoms ? What I mean is.... what actually defines a valid charge criminal or otherwise ?

Shouldn't we be told why a bug on our licence plate is an offence and if it is an offence shouldn't it be due to the fact that it has ...

Re: TRAFFIC STOPS providing ID

So basically they have made an error in that they have charged him with a dual procedure offence after arresting him with no warrant which cannot be done for such a charge ?

I am going to take the time to go over all of this and really fully understand what is happening (thank you)

We now also have an interesting twist of fate....

Re: ParkingTickets.TO

Forgive me if I come across as little dense...but parking tickets given by private companies or even city councils are surely illegal.

If someone requests that you pay an amount, surely you have to have agreed to pay for your default by having agreed to pay them by way of a contract with them if you fail to comply with their terms ? I don't ...

Get medical treatment for his injuries and inform the doctor of everything that happened. Get any and all medical reports that he has. Also, any scrap of evidence that you managed to record, submit ...

Re: obstruct plate

Doesn't this type of ticket fly in the face of our rights? Doesn't any 'crime' have to have a valid cause of action?

For instance, doesn't a 'crime' have to have caused harm loss or injury to a person ? I find many of these traffic tickets to be quite unlawful. How does a licence plate with few bugs for example stuck over a number constitute a ...

TRAFFIC STOPS providing ID

Can someone direct me to the part of the Traffic Act that states a police officer can use force if you fail to provide identification ?

ie./ If stopped by cruiser cop and asked for ID...what rights do we have and do they have the right to forcibly arrest you if you do not provide the info?
