403 - Upper Middle Rd / QEW Over Pass

This is a hard location to explain.

As the QEW (east bound) turns into the 403 you take a overpass that goes under upper middle rd onto the 403.

The overpass comes under upper middle rd and as you begin to head north on the 403 right at the start there is a small hill on the right.

There is an on ramp here from Upper Middle rd and an Officer in ...

401 - London area Elgin rd overpass
Radar/lidar stepped up enforcement!!!

401 - Chatam Area
Bloomfield rd overpass.

Radar / lidar.

Do not speed speed between London and Windsor especially near the Chatam or carnage alley they're. These officers are not like the GTA region ones and you can get a ticket for going 120.

Careful around many over ...

403 - Between Mavis & Erin Mills pkwy

Marked Cruiser, radar, hides under bridge in westbound lanes.

At very bottom of hill they're is a massive concrete overpass for train tracks i believe. This overpass is not a road however so be careful there is no exit here.

He faces west as well targeting cars as they pass (aiming for your rear).

Mississauga OPP HSD detachment patrols this hwy.

Re: Don't run

What do you mean?

Like a highway of cars driving at speeds over 150 passing on the left and moving right and left to pass, repeated?

Or a guy in a 1000 cc sport bike trying to run from a cop in some souped up muscle car and the guy in the bike is trying to exceed 250 with an officer in some wild muscle car trying to race around cars on a 3 lane ...

Re: JP rules - HTA172 violates the charter

Neat article although there has been talk of this for some time.

I agree with bear and the rest of you, although the roadside trial needs to stop. If they really want they can impound your car for a week after proven guilty in court.

So my question goes like this. If this does get repealed this will make big time news. Well if its gets changed i ...

Re: Don't run

Sorry didnt see the link.

Anyways defeats the purpose do we really want officers that need to go that fast to catch a speeder?

I mean its one thing to catch a criminal but if you need some kinda vehicle like this to catch someone the speeds your going to be doing starts to become dangerous.

Anyways its one thing for an officer to go like 180-210 ...

NYPD using Hyrid Altima's!

http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/05/02/new-york-police-to-start-patrolling-in-nissan-altima-hybrids/

Thought this was really cool. I happen to love the Nissan Altima. Ford is rumored to stop the Interceptor in 2011.

The altima doesn't seem like a bad car for city patrol.

The 3.5 L has 270 Horse power and some 250 lbs of torque not to bad!.

I ...

Re: 4 Tickets, $440, And NEED ADVICE

Interesting with the lights.

We had a discussion about HID's before.

All i think was said was headlights must emit white light.

I guess it depends on the officer but some of those people with weird color lights (purple, pure yellow, green, etc) are very annoying and distracting.

Or those that use HID's in a reflector system!

Re: Lifted/Moded Trucks

Sorry bear quick question.

Would an Ice Cream truck or a Van of a plumbing vehicle or a trailer qualify as a commercial vehicle?

Do coach buses qualify as commercial vehicles? Or just transports.

Re: How would you deal with this?

Well someone going that speed on the 401 really should not be on it and should have taken another road. I would just drive by what can you. You could call *OPP but i would only call that for very dangerous situations. Sometimes i will just flash my lights but they get mad.

There has been a few times where people are driving with all lights off and ...
