Cool bear do you guys get MC's for work.
Like marked OPP vehicles? What do you they use them for would they use them for traffic enforcement or speed enforcement.
FireStart i must agree there is alot of biker's that are nuts but you guys get a really bad rep on the road.
I would hope officer's are not bias, but the truth is there is some that ...

Re: Suspicious car on the street
It might be Julian Fantino looking for speeders, or street racers.
Maybe looking for those accidental squeals at a stop sign.
he says the tow truck industry needs a stimulus.
But seriously i would just call Peel and complain about it. It sounds suspicious and if its making your parents uncomfortable they should give Peel a call or just ...

Re: Interesting article about court appearances. Opinions?
I agree but some times i think police don't realize with already low limits.
You can get dinged a few hundred and face insurance increases for going with the flow of traffic.
I like the idea of the officer's going to court.
As for over time bear i remember you telling me that they usually schedule court appearances when you guys are already on ...

Re: 142km on 401 going west, near 401 exit to Homer Watson Blvd
The OPP's LED bars are the best.
I must admit you can see those from very very far away. They look cool to.
Off topic but i really hope you guys give tickets for those that fail to move over. You guys have a dangerous job as it is pulling people over all day on crowded highways with a bunch of drivers all in a hurry driving as fast as they can ...

Crown Vics/Chargers/Tahoe's
Hey i always wondered why the OPP like Tahoe's for.
One time i even saw a marked f250 wouldn't that be dangerous and such a big thing to maneuver around to catch speeders going 130 + etc.
I read on another forum they are gonna phase out the crown vics in 2011.
Actually recently peel has gone back to the crown vic's. They don't seem happy with ...

Re: Bad Drivers?
Hey bear random question does each detachment have some sort of budget?
So can you guys only afford X overtime etc.
And what about the cars i believe it was you who told me you guys get new cars after 150 k. That isnt very much at all today why do they replace them so early seems wasteful.
Ton's of cars run fine up to 250 k now. Not sure about ...

Re: Pulling over a group of bikes
I think the real question here is we already know your on a bike just how many cc is the engine
Just ask yourself?
Humm 3 lanes and 1000 CC.....
Just get off before the put the spike strips on but thats what the shoulder is for!

Re: Bad Drivers?
Haha Radar Identified i laughed so hard.
Haha a goat rodeo what a way to explain it perfectly!!!!
I love the right lane.
Hey the right lane should be for those trucks but they love to go slow in the middle lane and mess up the flow of traffic.
I heard the right lane gives you cancer this must be why everyone is afraid of it.

Re: Fines - Laser Detectors & Laser Jammers
I tend to find the same.
The QEW i have seen most people going 125-135 a number of times.
The 407 is really fast especially where it gets into more than 4 lanes.
The 401 is strange it can be really strange.
Mississauga is an intense drive usually along there in evening rush hour.
The 400 there is enough people that seem to drive as fast as ...

Re: Fines - Laser Detectors & Laser Jammers
NO way bear does it actually tell you when its being jammed specifically?
I thought it just wouldn't get a reading.
What kind of gun is this.
Are they getting rid of the Marksman 20/20? I have still seen some in use what are the OPP using for lidar now anyways.
Bear i wont lie your area of the 401 scares the *EDIT* out of me. It's carnage alley ...

Re: Speeding 22km/h over the posted speed limit.
Im so sick of this if they are gonna make it 100 they should start driving 100 to and then enforce it.
The limit is a joke even the cops cruise at this speed always.
Why don't you and your friends get together and role down the 401 all the way through the GTA locked at exactly 100 km/hr and sit in the 2 left lanes.
If we all drove 100 we wouldn ...

No i cant blame the driver but then all the people that were going 130 before they just will race around them on the right and cut back over.
This is what people who do this forget. They make it dangerous for everyone. If you clog the road and stop people from passing they have to pass on the right and race around you which is way more dangerous!

Re: Bad Drivers?
Hey RadarIdentified was that along there on the 401 this sunday afternoon.
What a mess. It was a massive tailgating party, never seen anything like it.
Must have been km of traffic all going 129 riding 1 to 1/2 car lengths behind each other.
What do cops do in a situation like this.
