Just for giggles...
Reflections, you forgot to add

Re: Improper left turn
I usually trust cops, but not this one! 141(6) carries 2 points (check with our "Demerit Points" table, or the one from MTO), so he lied right there, and I wouldn't believe what he said about the other driver either. You must be extra careful when dealing with tickets you received in collision, because if the other driver gets off without a ticket ...

Re: "Failing to yield from driveway"fine-no subsection
By writing your daughter a ticket and not giving the other driver anything, the officer is now placing 100% of the blame for the crash on her. I agree with Reflections here, if the vehicle swerved to avoid a stopped car backing out of the driveway and had serious damage then the speed must've been well above the posted speed limit. Pay that fine ...

Re: "Failing to yield from driveway"fine-no subsection
As ticketcombat tell us here , the justice cannot make you pay this ticket because no subsection is a fatal error. The crown does not have enough information to charge you (or your daughter) if there is no subsection - they do not even know what offense she had supposedly committed. There are a couple defense strategies that are available, in this ...

Re: "Failing to yield from driveway"fine-no subsection
Just a simple date error is not enough to throw the ticket out.
Now the other driver might be facing stunt driving or careless driving for losing control.
Can you provide us with more information? What was the actual OHTA subsection that your daughter was charged with?

If English is your second language (no matter how well you speak it!), you can get representation in your language, and the courts will have to provide you with a translator. Go to a police station, explain your situation, say that you have been confused and shocked by the impact, thus your testimony cannot be taken as reliable because of your ...

We have a thread similar to this, except for all of Ontario, including the 400-series. Here's the linky: http://www.ontariohighwaytrafficact.com/topic450.html with lots of speedtraps mentioned.

The judge cannot deny you your constitutional right to defend yourself using any means possible! Disclosure is an integral part of your defence.
Do see if the cop does not show up. If he's not there, you've won on the spot. Ask for adjournment if the cop is there, arguing that you did not know about disclosure, but just found out about it yesterday.

Re: Transport Trucks limited to 105 km/h?
Most driver's training courses always stress that, while on the highway such as 400 series, it is best practice to keep the right lane clear to allow for easier merging/exiting for other drives... Seems to make sense, especially when the highway is almost empty. Nothing worse a moron doing 100 right beside you when you are trying to merge.

Green is perhaps the easiest colour on eyes, and is often utilized by people who read a lot. Also, human eye's sensor is the most sensitive in green colour-space (as opposed to blues and reds, human eye can only see these 3 basic colours), so it does make it easier to see better. I have been blinded multiple times by people with too bright a lights ...

Re: Speed, Highway Safety & 172
Speed does kill (I mean noone has died crashing their car going 20 km/h), but not in the way Fantino would like us to believe. If you could cut down your travel time from, say, 4 hours down to 3, that's one hour less of driving-fatigue you experience... By the end of your journey, you are more tired and less alert than you were when you started up ...
