But wouldn't a blind-recording camera be a "non-distraction" to a driver? I thought they would ban certain types of equipment, like cellphones and portable dvd players, but not radio! Else why not ban blackboxes in newer cars?hwybear wrote:It's all good until the electronic components in vehicle law comes into place

Re: Quebec also has "Street Racing" legislation
I think that the law would make much more sense if it were in %, so have "Exceeding the speed limit 20-35%" instead of 16-29, ""Exceeding the speed limit 36-60%" instead of 30-49, and "Exceeding the speed limit 60+%" instead of 50+... That way doing 160+ on the 401 would land the same penalty as 150, but in a school zone you'd have to go just over ...

Wouldn't asking for it in disclosure be sufficient to get the video proof? Makes better case for an incomplete disclosure (unless there truly was no offense)...

Re: Fail to obey signs when passing an OPP cruiser
Any and all Road Service Vehicles I have encountered in my life:
A. Never had an Ontario license plate
B. Had "Road Service Vehicle" plate instead.
C. Never seen one with a decal saying anything about it being a RSV. Usually the only decal(s) they had were the company name decals or municipality decals...
These do not have to follow a whole slew ...

Welcome to the forum!
And cudos to you for beating the charge!
However, I hope you know that you need to complete a 2-year diploma program and then do 1 year of court duties before you can become a professional paralegal (ie charge people money for your paralegal services)...
