Re: Careless Driving!?

Did the cop see the impact? i guess not.
Will the truck driver be the cop's witness? If so bring your witness up to counter his.

Re: So I got a Disobey Stop Sign/ Fail to stop Sect 136 (1) (A)

Only after you plead guilty or found guilty in a court of law, the conviction and points will be entered in your driving record and only then the insurance may be able to know if they pull your driving abstract upon policy renewwal (They don't pull every driving abstract though to save money)
Many insurance companies forgive the 1st ticket for G ...

The plea bargain usually takes place 15 mins before the JP enters the court room and during the break.
In many cases the Crown will offer a lower charge, if the Crown does not you can initiate the plea bargain. Don't forget to check for the cop's presence before taking the Crown's offer.

Re: Red Light Cameras - Mississauga

If you get a ticket, take it to court, the fine will be reduced to $60 in toronto (maybe same for mississauga) and no insurance implication. So don't sweat it, enjoy your long weekend.

You can have someone going to court for you and ask for the delay, make sure he knows what he's doing. The trick of the trade is spelled out in www.ticketcombat.com, just read it.

Your mistake was speeding, your bigger mistake was admitting to the cop you were speeding. The help anybody can give now is very limited.
The only hope of beating the ticket is for him not showing up at trial.

You can be charged for just being existed.
Take it to first attendance, they may just drop it.

Re: 111 in 80

If you don't know the cop face, you can use his ID# and ask others waiting around for the same cop ID#, they may be able to point him out for you.
Or, if you hang around the prosecutor you will hear the cops also check in with the prosecutor using their ID#.

Your disclosure may need to be specfic otherwise you get nothing about the other driver ...

Re: 111 in 80

You just go to court on Aug 4, look around if the cop is there then ask JP for adjournment because you just find out about the disclosure thing. The JP most likely will grant it (but the delay will be deducted in the 11b motion if you are to have one in the future).

If the cop is not there, opt for trial.

On another note, the circumstance of your ...

Re: 144(9) - Carlaw and Lakeshore

Ask for disclosure.

Go to trial, see what the Crown offers.

A. If by-law is offered and cop is there, take it.
If by-law is offered and cop is not there, your choice.

B. If no by-law offered then watch for the cop:

1. if the cop is there, ask for a delay of the trial. If no disclosure by trial day, the delay will be at the Crown's fault. If ...

Re: Disobey Stop Sign.136(1)(0). not remmeber if I stopped or no

If you choose option 3, I don't know about windsor but in toronto court the crown will offer a plea bargain with less fine and no point at trial date
However you only take the plea bargain if the cop shows up; if he does not, opt for trial, the crown had no choice but to withdraw the charge.

In case it goes to trial, if you don't remember whether ...

i meant to check the speed limit at location Bayview and crosby, if the max speed there is 60 then you were charged 55 in a 60 zone. if so take the picture and show the cop that he was so wrong.

Re: 15km over ticket, need some advice

Wrong location is not a fatal error as per ticketcombat site, but you can use the error to your advantage.
Go to that location and check what the speed limit is or use this error to discredit the cop on the witness stand.

To make the fight the ticket, you either hire a paralegal or be prepared to spend time and to learn how to denfend yourself in ...
