i would go to the first attendance meeting to get an idea of what the prosecutor will offer, especially because you are a G2 driver and if this is your first offense

if all the stars align you could get a by-law disobey sign or even the HTA disobey sign carrying 2-demerit points, which is not so bad compared to a +49

search for London v. Young for the procedure

google streetview is most likely outdated, you should revisit that location in person and confirm it's 70kph and not 60kph

you can also verify with local by-laws, and find the history of that stretch of road's posted limits

You're still looking at a 30-day license suspension with a realistic plea-deal of +49kph

I marked the same thing when I applied for a First Attendance meeting, I believe when the Prosecutor schedules the trial it's automatically changed; you can probably visit the ticket office and see what the new status is

tickets (P.O.N.) can be issued anywhere, he can follow you to your house (private property) and hand you the ticket/summons upto six-months from Tuesday for contravening s78.1

but the actual offense of holding the hand-held device, has to be on a public road not in a McDonalds Drive Thru

your best course of action is NOT to attend trial, in your absence the JP SHOULD see the missing section number and quash it

however if the JP doesn't see the missing section number, you'll have excellent grounds to appeal and re-open the case ...
