$52.50 is correct.
The courts use a set fine as approved/published, not what the HTA says.
1-19 kilometres per hour over the maximum speed limit 2.50 per kilometre
to find the above:
http://www.ontariocourts.on.ca/ocj/en/s ... /index.htm
then click on "highway traffic act"
then scroll down to "Schedule B"

Obviously I was not there. I have never ever heard of an oncoming/approaching traffic lane being known as a "left" lane, until now. So, I apologize for becoming confused from your original post and should have clarified from the start.

it is articulation and how each side presents their side of the story and how gathering of evidence is done.
I ride MC, loud mufflers do nothing but disturb the neighbourhood and does not safe any lives. Want to save lives, stop wearing black leather. Wear bright coloured armoured type jackets.

There's no such law for any US state or any Canadian province, either.

Really?! I have in front of my my ticket and it says Set fine $250, Total Payable $300. Then beside that it says, Total payable includes set fine, applicable victim fine surcharge and costs.
Is it possible that there are different Total Payables for each city or is there a flaw that I didn't know of on my ticket?
