Unless it the offence is collision related there would not be a 2nd road listed. Another road has nothing to do with the offence.

Would not list a 911 number either as did not occur in a residence.

Now this one is bear and I could see you not wishing to answer this but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. You mentioned in another thread that you rarely see a follow too close beat in court, I'm curious as to how often those cases involve collisions? And, for those cases that didn't see convictions was there any similar strategy to the defense ...

We are trained from day one at OPC in PVO (police vehicle operations). Multi tasking is pretty much the whole course. Maintaining control of the car (skids, braking, turning, speeds), rules of the road, radio, lights, etc.

Once a recruit comes out, they are then placed with a coach officer for further in depth multi-tasking issues radio, phones ...

What all those specs don't tell you is that the unit rounds DOWN and COSINE that is where the plus /minus comes in.

When using properly, if a reading was 77.9km/hr it will round down to 77km/hr.....this is the PLUS reading.

When getting a reading, one can not be directly in front of the vehicle at the same height, therefore a cosine affect comes ...

I may be wrong, but to what I have heard is that tuning forks in themselves are made by using radar.....they keep shaving the metal to the tune of speed "X" on radar.

Even if the above is not the case, the tuning fork potentially could get dings, knicks or even bent over time, thus giving a wrong "tune" to the radar, unit is sent for repair but ...

RADAR / LIDAR are completely accurate in rain/snow.

The only difference is that the range is reduced, so the target vehicle is actually closer.

Some LIDAR have a weather mode for the operator to switch to in rain/snow.

There are other police that people are not acccustomed to. (ie First Nations Police, CN Police, CP Police, Conservation Officers) they also have full authority.

Some that might not have authority are University Police (but they might have been sworn in for a full city)... don't know that answer!

I am no where a sports trainer, but I don't know if being able to job 30min or 1hr will do anything for you to pass the PREP.

I have never done the PREP as it came in way after I was hired. I have done the shuttle run for my fitness test. I only needed 6.5 to pass....went to 9.5 without a problem.
