Re: questions re: 11b filing, thanks!
After reviewing this and the ticket combat site, I still have some questions not answered, can anybody who filed 11b in the past can answer the following question? Thanks.
1. Do I have to use 'Notice of Application for Stay of Proceedings' instead of form 4F, will 4F work at all?
2. Do I have to swear the 'Notice of Application for Stay of ...

Re: Speeding 1km over
Did he reduce the ticket or were you really doing 51 on 50? Can't believe that.cluelessInTO wrote:I was given a speeding ticket for 51 in a 50. Should I go to court and hope the cop doesn't show up or just pay? There are no points and the fine is less than $20 but i'm worried about my insurance going up. Any other defence I can use to get this dismissed?

Re: Tireburst-Careless driving ticket
While it's possible to maintain control of a vehicle with a blown tire, it's an infrequent and sudden event .
The OP said it was a left rear blow out, very easy to control.
I think it's the opposite. Rear wheels are important to keep the car in track and avoid spinning.

And also no conviction, thus no insurance hikes... right?Radar Identified wrote:Yes, it is like a red light camera ticket. The owner cannot get demerit points if the plate is all that's reported.

Is this like a red light camera ticket?
If bus driver reports the license plate number, will car owner get infraction points?

Yes, and there it is...Stanton wrote:When I click on the link in the first post, it appears that there's another sign posted about 75-100 prior to the intersection advising no turns as well. With two signs posted you might have a hard time arguing you couldn't read them.

I think the notice of trial is the most important document, but you can always call the Court Office and see if they have a copy anywhere.robbiedigital wrote:Hi guys,
Just wondering how important the original ticket is in the 11b application? I'm 99% it's been lost over the past year...

Is it my impression or the the lights and sign are a bit too far away from the intersection?
That's a good 20 meters there.

Re: red light camera offence ticket
I would like to clarify one thing:
If you chose option (3) and at the trial date you accept the prosecutor's offer by pleading guilty with a lesser fine, are you sure they won't send this conviction to MTO?
In other words, won't insurance companies know about this?

Is the left-turn green arrow facing incoming traffic? So that means you cannot turn right if incoming cars have the left-green arrow? The examiner explained the reason I failed was because I made a right-hand turn at an intersection where a solid red light AND a left-turn green arrow were both showing.

Re: How to file an 11B
And just to add... I've become the latest to get a charge tossed based on an 11B. HOWEVER, it was like pulling teeth.
At my first appearance, quite surprisingly, the Prosecutor fought it tooth-and-nail. This was surprising for two reasons:
1. Most of her arguments were not applicable, and
2. The Prosecutor's office had failed to provide ...

Thanks diehard - but I guess my question would be - how do you prove they got the fax? What if they say the fax was never received? How do we prove they got the fax without having their stamp on each book?
PS: The books are already printed and we paid Staples to Bind them so dont really mind so much having to get the stamp, but it sucks that the ...
