Re: driving in oncoming traffic lane
Why didn't you pull in your lane (the right lane)?
Anyway, if you feel that you didn't commit the traffic violation, then fight the ticket.
Choose option (3), plead not guilty.
Request a date for trial.
If English isn't your first language and you aren't very fluent and don't feel confident, then request an interpreter.

Re: My observations at traffic court in Markham
I noticed that the court is setting the dates for trial of defendants according to an officer's schedule.
In my trial session my officer was also the same for at least two other defendants.

Re: What if judge rejects my 11b motion?
I left in a hurry so happy that I forgot to ask the following:
How do I confirm that my case was really stayed?
I got no document or anything.
Is there a court website I could search for the result of the courts proceeding?

Re: What if judge rejects my 11b motion?
VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I arrived at the court room an hour before my trial was to begin.
It was very busy, lots of people pleading not guilty from the previous session.
So when the time came for the new session everyone lined up to speak with prosecutor.
I noticed that my interpreter and the officer showed up.

Yeah, in that case you got a conviction and your insurance company found out.smp wrote:er, correction: not a red light CAMERA ticket
Now you'll have to wait three years.
Do some shopping upon policy renewal.
Johnson Inc. has very good rates, call them.

Re: Bicycle - can I reverse this ticket?
So I just got a shock from the insurance company, what would have been a rate of $180/month is now 380/month because of a red light ticket I got on my bicycle in 2009. Now, I took it to court. When I was there I specifically asked if I would get demerit points and if it would affect my insurance, the answer was no. So, they lied? I pled guilty to ...

Re: Question regarding filing a motion, most likely 11b
OK, so here I am, going to file a motion 11b and section 7 of Charter of Rights.
The question that I have is "can one file a motion in a different court from the one he has his trial at?"
I was able to file my ticket at the Markham Rd. court house and request a trial, but my trial is at Queen St. W, now that I want to file a motion, can I go to ...
