I hear and feel your pain, I stopped doing anything about it, when I used to get stupid/angry responses.
So, I let them drive on, hopefully they will learn when they get copped or wrap themselves around a lampost and Darwin takes control.
Seriously, a lot of people, simply think, they can get into a car and drive, because they have a license ...

insurance renewals
Just wanted to share, a question that comes up about effects of insurance and convictions
So my car quote, came in $457 less than last year, listed as 1 minor (speeding) due to come off this year in June (as far as abstract is concerned) renewal is in March
Wife has a 1 minor as well speeding , "think" it comes off next year (2018), now her one ...

Re: Careless Driving - Left Turn Hit A Pedestrian
no, no, not overkill, your VERY sensible,
it doesnt matter who is right or wrong, if your dead or seriously injured, very few things can remedy that,
as a driver doing everything right, imagine the guilt you would have,
I had the shakes all night, even a shot of brandy (when I got home) didn't calm me down, not for a few hours.
Yes, I realized ...

Re: 135KM in 100km- Trial or ER?
not sure your correct on that.
option 2 ER, you always see the prosecutor to discuss a resolution, lower fine etc, generally, they WONT go into your defenses, you are generally guilty, then you go before a judge,
not heard nor seen it how you describe it.
I've seen 3 or 4 cases , that the defendants have been excused, depending on there excuses ...

Re: 35km over reduced to 20km- STUDENT
Remember though that a 15 over (0 demerits) and the 20 over (3 demerits) will still cause your insurance to increase the same amount.
as jsherk says also to note the points are irrelevant to some extent, except for totting up
if you get a conviction for speeding under 49kmh its usually considered minor, 50 or over major
and then you will have 2 ...

Re: Urgent help needed: Handheld Comm Device-Trial is on Dec
this is annoying, I understand the leg and why it is important, seriously I do, but moving a phone off your seat to stop it falling, is a far cry from holding a phone to your ear, or texting
Letter of the law, or common sense...
when I get into my car I have bluetooth, I switch it on and put the phone in my door pocket, never touch it
