"spelled the name of my street wrong."
That won't get your ticket tossed. Just talk to the crown try to find a middle ground. The obs view will probably get tossed without even asking, and then request a lower speed with a guilty plea. Could be that easy. All depends on the crown.

Well, this was 6 hours from your home so, I would hire a paralegal. 35 over is close to $280 ish and my have a big impact on your insurance. I think the costs would be about the same. However, if you would like an accurate quote you can fill out the form at the bottom of each page. I wish you luck.

Just for clarity, As long as do not drive AROUND the "Road Closed" barrier, you should be ok.

It's all about the location of the signage, it works the same as Speed Limit signs, in this case ...

Re: Different speed limits on both sides of the road
You will have to be very clear when you explain this in court. Take that image and blow it up, plus take some pictures, file for disclosure(cover your a$$) and away you go. I would definitely work on your wording ahead of time. Good luck.

Personally, that obstructed view ticket is a non-issue.... if they won't just drop it ask if the officer was ever sitting in the drivers seat....ticket dismissed. I agree with Simon thou, you can never guarentee what offer may come up.

If you only had a verbal with the officer then there is no proof of anything. Send a fax, keep the transmission receipt, to cover your bases, then you have an arguement.

Re: Transcibed officer electronic notes
In court, as long as the notes used by the officer are the ones given to the defendant then all good.OPS Copper wrote:They are typed on the computer into the note section of the ticketing software. Unless something goes awry there is no more hand written notes for most traffic stops.
They are generated by hitting the print function.
