Re: 3132 Eglinton Avenue East Scarborough ON M1J 2H1
The question you need to ask yourself is: Were you either on a highway or about to enter a highway when the offence was committed? The location was on Eglington Ave and the Walmart is between Beachall and Mason, so there doesn't ...

Re: license suspended for over 3 years.
If you didn't have a full G class licence in Ontario when it was suspended you will probably have to re-start the whole process again. A class G1 or G2 is only valid for 5 years and prior to expiration you either have to test for the next level or do a retest for that current level to renew it.

Re: Commercial truck requirements
Here's a simple explanation of the requirement for the Annual Inspection. The most common problem I have found is that people don't know that this applies to personal vehicles as well as those used for business. (Pretty much every dual wheel pickup requires an annual inspection)

Re: Speeding 110 on 100 zone
You can just pay it if you want to and there is no need to appear in Kingston. Any ticket has the potential to raise insurance rates depending on your record and your insurance company. If you decide to fight it, you or your agent must appear in Kingston for the trial however, the prosecutor will bump the ticket back up to the original speed of 144 ...

Yes to all of those. I assume you're talking about the same ticket that you mentioned in the other post?

It's not likely that the charge will simply be dropped. You'll have to enter a plea of not guilty and fight the ticket if that's what you want. Two arms length isn't a standard unit of measurement.

That is not a fatal flaw on the ticket and will not be thrown out if you choose to fight it in court.

Re: Failure to remain
I believe I did answer your question:
"My question is to whether or not he can be charged with a failure to remain."
I indicated that the charge does fit the description of the incident and there was a requirement for him to remain at the scene.

You've indicated in your original post that he was charged with fail to remain already. So the answer is yes. That charge does fit your description of the incident.

A business trip doesn't come before a subpoena to court. It's your responsibility to contact the prosecutor with any of your concerns about your court appearance.

Because it appears that these may be Criminal charges, I would strongly suggest seeking legal counsel. This forum wil not generally comment on anything criminal.

Depending on how far you have to travel to the court, they may pay mileage in some areas. And if you simply don't show up a warrant may be issued for your arrest.

Re: Parking ticket WITH Accessible Permit
The accessible permit simply allows someone to park in a designated disabled parking spot. It is not a permit to park where you want and not receive a ticket.
