i got a ticket for making a left turn at Walmart. the sign is on Walmart property line, do I have right to fight this ticket. The walmart location is at Eglinton and Mason road (3132 Eglington Avenue East Scarborough ON M1J 2H1). And the ticket state that I disobey sign at Eglinton @Beachell St. The major intersection is at Eglinton and Markham.
The question you need to ask yourself is: Were you either on a highway or about to enter a highway when the offence was committed? The placement of the sign was probably on city owned property which usually extends well beyond the actual roadway. The location was on Eglington Ave and the Walmart is between Beachall and Mason, so there doesn't appear to be an issue with location.
