You really need to file an official complaint. There may be other instances of this behavior and multiple complaints from unrelated sources would go a long way to seeing this man removed from the force. I have two daughters approaching there late teens and will never tolerate ANY inappropriate behavior directed at them.
Also, I would strongly ...

Re: Failed to yield to traffic
I think that even if the other car DID have a green, he has raised enough reasonable doubt as to the proper operation of the signals. It's reasonable to assume the lights were not functioning properly based on the evidence from the electrical company.
Definitely fight this one.

McGuinty finally realized that teens have a voice (it's called Facebook). Now I hope he learns just how powerful they can be come election day.

Re: Driving through Detroit could get expensive
Let me get this straight... Municiple funds are low due to the recession. So the solution is to take money from the very citizens that are ALSO financially crippled by the recession. Real Nice.
I believe our McGuinty government is doing the same thing with all these new stunt laws and such. He just doesn't come right out and admit it like the ...

6 of us cruisin' the streets of Collingwood in my buddies hotrodded Dodge van. We stop at the beer store and each grab a case of beer. Each case gets ripped open and one beer removed and half consumed before being pulled over.

Hmmm... I've been thinking about getting a laser parking system to assist with those tricky parking situations. Gee, I hope the Laser Pro Park system won't negatively affect the police lasers

Re: Failure to submit permit? What's required in car re: permit?
I received a ticket once with the wrong township written on it (boundary ran down the centre of the road). A retired cop friend of mine suggested I file a not-guilty plea at the court and speak to NO ONE until 30 days have passed (depriving the officer the option of re-writing and issuing a NEW ticket. Then I would bring all the errors to the ...

Re: Zero Tolerance for 1st 5 years of driving...
I got a kick out of last nights paper. Our local Police Inspector was going on about how great these new laws will be. I went to school with this inspector. At just 17 years old, he cruised the streets in an all black, big-block Nova with a modified 396cu.in. engine (a real street-sweeper!) and no graduated licensing of course.
How could he ...

OK Law, you'd have me completely sold if you purposely go out and get a ticket. Then test your theory and report back

Sure the Court COULD allow the ticket to be amended, but you would want to object to this. You have prepared your case based on the information shown on the charging document. Your court date is now and you are prepared to proceed. It is not your fault the crown is not prepared. As backup, you might want to have your lawyer print you out the case ...

Re: Correction for posting, is this law 6 years old
I watched a show a few years ago about paramedic drivers. They had camera crews in the ambulance as they tried to rush to emergency calls. It would be funny if weren't so sad to see just how oblivious people are to what is going on BEHIND them... as if mirrors are just for decoration or something. Even with lights, sirens and horn blaring, some ...
