Hi everybody. Hoping to get some help and insight. Three weeks ago I received a speeding ticket in Mississauga. It's not showing up on paytickets.ca (under the Mississauga subheading) or when I try to enter it on the early resolution website (Ontario). I've been checking daily and it still won't appear. Does this mean the officer never filed the ticket, or there was a data entry error or something? I was wondering if I should call the court tomorrow and ask them to lookup my driver's licence and see if there were any outstanding fines.

I wouldn’t assume it means the officer never filed it. Could just be a delay or a data entry issue. If it were me, I’d call the Mississauga Provincial Offences Office and ask them to check it by ticket number and your name, just so you don’t miss anything. I’d also keep screenshots showing it wasn’t appearing online. Better to confirm now than assume it disappeared and get burned later.

I figured pleading not guilty is the same as saying it was signed which is stupid. A friend of mine told me I could plead guilty with explanation and try to get the fine reduced when I come in.

My trial date is in a couple days for a speeding ticket (york region) and i am nervous it is my first ticket ever as well as first trial
I did notice my ticket was filed beyond 7 days, 10 days after the day i got the ticket to be exact, which is stamped on the ticket. is this enough to have it dismissed?
