I have to have a vehicle towed to a place to have some work done on it, but am curious if it's legal to use a tow strap. Currently my license is suspended for a few more days, so someone would have to drive my licensed and insured truck to tow a currently unlicensed and uninsured car. The car runs, it's passed a safety, brakes and lights and everything work but I lack a trailer to tow it. So my questions here are: is this a legal way to tow the car, and secondly am I able to sit in the towed car to control the steering and brakes?
