Ontario Highway Traffic Act

I have to have a vehicle towed to a place to have some work done on it, but am curious if it's legal to use a tow strap.
Currently my license is suspended for a few more days, so someone would have to drive my licensed and insured truck to tow a currently unlicensed and uninsured car.
