Really? Is this law going to prevent Camcorders on dashboards too? Because they don't display anything really if you think about it, they just show you the same visual scene as you would see anyways while driving.

No worries. I can fold the screen in if that's the issue. I don't play with it while driving (no need really). Just hit record when I start the car. I highly doubt the gadget law will affect dash cams. If it does, I'll find a way around it.
