Disobey Sign, Fail to Stop - On a Bicycle

I'm looking for some advice with regards to my shiny new ticket. I was riding a bicycle and rolled through a stop sign a bit too fast. I understand I should be making a full stop like a motor vehicle, but in practicality it is much more difficult to do on a bicycle, but I digress...

I've done some quick research and it appears this ticket does NOT count against my driving record so long as the ticket clearly indicates I was driving a bicycle. My question is regards to what defines clearly labeled (and I have a hunch that if I'm not sure, then it is no clearly labeled).

The ticket does not clearly identify that I was riding a bicycle (it does not say "bicycle" anywhere). The plate number is scratched through and the CVOR No. is left blank. However, the thing that worries me, is that the "Motor Vehicle Involved - [] N/N" box is empty. As I read it, the officer should have checked this box.

Does this clearly designate that I was on a bicycle so that MTO will not receive information regarding this ticket?

Thanks in advance for your input.

The plate # being scratched through should be enough. Anyway... if you really wanted to push the issue, you could file for an early resolution with the Prosecutor just to be sure.

I'm sure you are right. Turns out I have an opportunity to duck out of work this morning and handle this, so I'll go for early resolution to make sure this goes the right way, and maybe get a reduced fine.

Thanks for the advice!
