Driver's Lack Of Diligence = ....

This PSA shows why diligence is of utmost importance while driving. If one visits http://www.ourboots.ca/ and clicks on EMS, one can see the devastating impact of a driver who fails to pay attention. Sadly, this occurs more often than I ever imagined.


Maybe we should have dash cams in ambulances and forward the offences to the local PD! Imagine, a cash cow for the municipality and maybe, just maybe, some increased compliance from the motoring public.

I don't see why this is not part of the HTA where owners can be charged for failing to give way to emergency vehicles, kinda like blowing by school buses.


Then again, an Ontario driver's licence may be obtained by opening a Corn Flakes box (especially in the GTA)... Also "traffic school" should be an option as an alternative "punishment" (or required) for certain offences like this one...
