I'm going to plead not guilty and have a go at it. My thinking is that it should be fairly easy to prove that I wasn't the lead vehicle in question as long as the Officer well...tells the truth (for lack of a better term).
That will be very difficult to do for multiple reasons.
- you did not even see the officer to slow down in time, therefore ...

Re: Resulting demerit points will terminate schooling
Remember that the demerit points do not get applied until you pay the fine, trial or no trial.
If you are convicted and the JP gives you a 60 day extension to pay the ticket, do the demerit points get applied that day or 60 days later when you actually pay the fine?
Demerit points are effective to the "offence date", but are not added until a ...

Re: Suspension for Novice Violation(s)
The suspension has nothing to do with demerit points. Simply there are conditions for novice drivers to follow that prove they are responsible and can abide by their licence conditions while learning how to drive.
HTA OREG 340/94 sec 9
1) licence will be suspended for violating a novice condition
2) you shall be notified of the suspension date ...

statement that you had to make a right turn immediately after the left turn, in which case you do not have to make a left turn to a left lane. .
that is incorrect, still must enter the correct lane, once in that lane, signal to the right lane, then change lanes if safe to do so.

What school is this? I just searched 4 colleges that state a student must have a valid "G" licence, with 2 of those 4 requiring a valid "F" licence by 2nd year.

Even still, it is unclear to me from the notes as to who exactly the 'target' vehicle was. A lead vehicle was observed (this implies there was more than one vehicle) and a vehicle was targeted, but there is no specification as to which vehicle this was (was it the lead? was it me? was it the third vehicle?).
Seems very clear to me from the notes ...

Re: My experience at Queen St court house
.Contrary to popular believe, by getting your ticket reduced from 3 pts to no points, does not mean your insurance rate will not get affected. Most insurance companies will forgive a minor speeding ticket, but the second one will not be forgiven..

Re: My experience at Queen St court house
Two minutes later he came back and asked if I had my ticket, I gave it to him and he said "I go with the last 3 digits, looks like I got the wrong book"
I was not sure what that meant, then he went on to say it is better for you, I said "I'm not sure what that means" playing dumb, this is when he tells me that he does not have his evidence and he ...

Just used google maps and "street view". If I follow your description. There is a designated "left turn" lane (marked with road markings and with signs). Centre and right lane have "straight ahead" road markings.

Re: 60 km/h in a 50 (reduced from 91)
I've seen them a little quicker....and for some reason their speed was reduced to 0km/hrRadar Identified wrote: Also, unless the F-250 has a speed governor that kicks in at 90 km/h, it is quite possible to do 91. I've seen F-250s going 140 so saying that your vehicle is "not that fast" will not work in court.

It was NOT radar being used.....it was lidar which is target specificHelper wrote:If you do go to court and plead not guilty ask the officer how he KNEW it was your car and not either of the other vehicles that were travelling with you...the radar beam is very broad and can capture more than one vechile. .
