Thanks for the picture, however that alone is not enough. Such as the blue lights we see, they look blue at them, however still transmit a white light onto the road surface, hence those are still legal.
Improper headlights is $110 no points.
An officer could take this further, that since the vehicle does not have proper headlights (same ...

Re: Ontario car/driver, Kentucky speeding ticket
I have seen all the others mentioned on a DL history.
Really? I was under the impression that of the US states, only NY and Michigan reported the infraction to Ontario unless the driver didn't pay the ticket, because of this:.

Re: 2 tickets - worth negotiating?
So, what do you think I should do at the meeting with the prosecutor -- settle with canceling the "failing to show insurance card" ticket and plead guilty to the "failing to obey sign" ticket (I assume that's what prosecutor will want to do?) ... or go to court for both tickets?
I ticket has points associated an one does not.....which one do ...

7 days is correct.....can not rip them up...but very similiar....just right VOID across the face of it....all our PON's are accounted forticketcombat wrote:I think the cop has 7 or ten days to file the ticket. The 72 hours was probably if you saw the cop before he filed the ticket, he could just rip it up. If it's filed, then it's in the hands of the prosecutor.

Re: Transport Trucks limited to 105 km/h?
How come we only care about the speed of transports.
They do way worse things such as unsecured loads, old tires that could burst, drivers that are sleepy swerving all over the road from being to tired. I have seen transports with debrey flying off them that could smash your wind sheild..
You don't see it but I do.....cars are equally to blame ...

people complain about speeding tickets that are avoidable, but will gladly drive onto a "pay-as-you-go" highway

Based on good tires, brakes and ideal dry paved road conditions...
100km/hr = 28m/sec
(52m stopping distance + 40m reaction time = 92m to stop)

Re: Speed, Highway Safety & 172
I have had local police fly by me going well over 150. I had a friend one week going to a cottage who infact got tailgated by an OPP convey on hwy 400. They had a car, bikes, and a tahoe carrying a boat racing up behind everyone in the left lane.
How come no one ever gets tickets for inhibiting the flow of traffic. Why do people who fail to move ...

Remember the OPP only gathered the evidence and took it to the Crown, the Crown then indicated that charges should be laid based on the totality of the evidence brought to him/her.racer wrote: I'd love to see the witness report made by OPP.

I would like to see the following:
- vehicle sensors to prevent following too close as per speed travelled
- no concrete barriers, but lanes apart by 50metres. It is hell for emergency services to get to the other side (some areas is 20km of barrier....times both directions 40km) that is along time in an emergency.

Headlights must produce "white light only". Some appear blue, yellow etc, but once it hits the ground it still must be white, yellow.

tdrive2....try to answer a few things
1) Chart is flawed. It is based on traffic collision reports which are done by officers, which should be checked by a supervisor. Most of us "traffic hounds" will fill them out properly. There are codes along both side of the report. I have seen others just fill them out to get them done and not even look what ...
