Re: Question about Red Light Camera on Highway 7 and Bathurs
You can probably pay it at their Richmond Hill office at 50 High Tech Road. Although if you are pleading guilty it would probably be simpler to just mail a cheque to the address on the back of the ticket.

Highway 7 is maintained by York Region. If the amber light at that intersection isn't working pleas report it to the Road Maintenance Department.

Re: unpaid traffic tickets after 40 years....
I'd be interested to know whether the records are still in the MTO database after all this time. Also prior to 1990 (I think) it was standard practice to issue arrest warrants for people who failed to respond to their traffic tickets, I wounder what the courts have done with those outstanding warrants. Anyway, as others have said, the only way to ...

I would go to the summons date your self and see if they offer anything. If they don't then you can set a date for trial and then shop around and find a lawyer or paralegal.

Re: Filing for trial after 15 days
They will usually let you file the ticket for trial right up until the prosecutor's office files a motion with the court to get a default judgment against you. Theoretically they can do that after 15 days have passed but in reality it usually takes them longer and certainly no one will have done that over the long weekend. So if you go in on Monday ...

Re: Expired License/Sticker/Speeding - I'm an Idiot
I would book the ticket for trial, that in itself will give you extra time to save up some money. On your trial date talk to the prosecutor and see if they are willing to offer you a deal. They may offer something or they may say that you already got a break from the officer and offer nothing, you won't know unless you ask. If they offer nothing ...

He is looking at $85 fine ($105 after victim surcharge) and 3 demerit points. He will also have an at fault accident on his record which will result in an insurance increase.

Re: $150 for being 6 mins late
Here is the link to a thread that goes through how to file an 11b application. Typically in order for 11b to apply your court date has to be a year or more away from the day you filed your ticket for court.

Re: Ticket In RIDE program?
The controlling Supreme Court Cases regarding the RIDE program are Dedman v. The Queen and R. v. Hufsky. However, these cases uphold the RIDE program as legal so they don't offer much of a defence. Also the Supreme Court ruled in R. v. Ladouceur that it is legal for the police to randomly stop vehicles in order to check that the operator has a ...

yeah my ticket (similar situation where officer was wrong) shows "no valid permit". Go to the courthouse and chat with them
So would I go to the courthouse and chat with them about the ticket directly, or would I be going there to setup an appointment, and then I come back and chat with them?

I thought you no longer needed to have the validation sticker affixed to the back of your ownership. If that is the case then maybe this ticket should never have been written in the first place?

Re: Need stamp from Attorney General of Canada for Form 4B
You should be able to get a stamp from this office. Still to be sure that there will be someone there to stamp your form you can call them at 416-973-0942 and double check. The building it self is at the corner of King St. West and York St. If you are coming by TTC get off at Saint Andrew Station and head east, you should be able to walk it in a ...

Re: I was found guilty when I was told not to go to court??
Contact the court house in the jurisdiction where this happened first thing on Monday and explain the situation. While I'm not that familiar with the Quebec court system, I'm sure there is a procedure for reopening cases where a judgment has been issued against somebody in error. Make sure to keep a copy of the e-mail you received stating that your ...
