There is no requirement under the Highway Traffic Act for speed ahead signs.
An officers notes will not contain fatal flaws.
They may contain mistakes, but it's up to you to point them out and make them relevant during a trial.
Notes are just there to refresh an officers memory, so do not put all your eggs in this one basket.

Re: Two tickets for same offence of expired sticker?
The wording changed in the last couple years on permit validation. It leaves it up to interpretation on whether or not affixing a sticker to the back of the permit is a requirement or just a suggestion.

A school bus will activate its overhead lights when receiving or discharging children. Either that didn't happen or you didn't notice.
You can start from there.

Re: An obscure parking signal in Great Toronto Area
I don't know if it's all that obscure.
It's no parking 8:30pm to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) except during July and August, where you are free to park.
It's most likely beside a school where there is a runoff from available spots in the parking lots or where students pay for parking.

Re: Driving motor vehicle without permit..(ownership)
You'd probably want to request an early resolution meeting (if available). Show them you have the required documents on hand. They might decide to let it slide.

Re: Fail to disobey sign Toronto (no left turn between 4-6pm)
So when I got pulled over by the cop he asked for my driver license, insurance etc. I still didn't know what's going on until I asked him what is this about. When he asked me if i knew there was a sign saying no turning left between 4-6 I told him i didn't know. Shouldn't he tell me what's going on when pulled me over? [/size]

Should I request a disclosure of evidence ? and how to do that ?
Luckily, Mississauga is probably the easiest place to make a disclosure request if you have no clue how to go about doing so.
The website is here .
It's an online form. Just fill it out and hit submit. They also give you the option of having it emailed.

You don't give up your option for a trial if you request an early resolution. If both parties don't come to an agreement, they'll simply book you a trial date for the future and you'll go from there.
Like ynotp said, careless driving is the worst of the worst when it comes to insurance. It's so bad that you should probably consider accepting ...

Re: Failing to wear a seat belt with a speeding ticket
If you plan on fighting your tickets, you can start by requesting a court date. The instructions will be listed on the back of your ticket.
You'll wait for your Notice of Trial and then you can make a disclosure request. This will contain the evidence against you (usually just the officers notes, maybe video in some cases).

Re: Fail to stop at Stop Sign Already Postpond Ticket Once
Unfortunately, you can't argue your right to a trial to a speedy trial when you're the one postponing it. That ship has already sailed.
You also probably shouldn't wait until your trial to ask for another date yet again. They expect you to be ready to go. They might not take too kindly to the request the second time around.

Re: Improper use of high occupancy lane (on hwy 7) & fail to surrender licence
I was searching through the forum, and saw from another thread that hwy 7 is apparently not included under the regulation for HTA 154.1(3). I am hopeful that I would have a good chance to have the HOV charge dismissed.
High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes regulation states that HOV lanes are the left most lane of the King's Highway. They are located ...

You're in an awkward position because you were charged with two different offenses.
For now, let's just ignore whatever your defense may or may not be.
You're in an all or nothing situation. Let's say you have a valid argument and you successfully defend against one ticket. They are just going to ding you on the license.

I'm not sure what you're quoting because no one had told this poster to do anything. The poster asked questions and his questions were directly answered.
I would also ask you tone it down with your posts.

Re: Using nitrous on a drag strip or racing event
Again, it's private property. It's not a HTA issue whether or not a specific track allows nitrous. That's up to whomever is sanctioning the event.
