Re: Hit a bike, charged with Careless Driving

You need to walk your bike across an intersection, not ride off like that. Fight it.

Re: Got a ticket for Not wearing seatbelts in backseat !!!

I always make sure all the passengers in the back are wearing their seat belts, I won't drive until they are. Bad habit, unless you want to die. Had a relative who busted up his eye for not wearing a seat belt, now there is perm damage. He was also in the back when the car had a collision. Not a fun way to learn to buckle up if you ask me.

Would GPS units be a better measurement of your speed, than your cars speedometer?

Re: Park interfering with snow removal...

The reason it should be under the wipers is to hold in it place. There's no way my car door handles can be used as a holding spot for a parking ticket, it would just fly away.

Re: received ticket in illinois. first time in the states :(

Just my 2 cents, but I would pay the fine.

You have to know the laws and traffic rules of the country you are in. I once asked a American relative what happens if you dont pay or cant pay at the tolls. His answer, was if you live here you KNOW you have to pay money at tolls, so you either dont take the toll highway or you make sure to take money ...

Re: DUI charge on Private Property but NOT caught in the car

As long as someone can place her behind the wheel is all that's needed and the do not have to catch her in the car.

It does not matter that it was on private property.

OPS

Also, don't you need to have the keys on you, not necessarily in the ignition AND provide or refuse a breath sample to be charged with a DUI? I don't see how someones word ...
