Re: Can this be appealed?

I know alot of people are not aware of this law. Im always correcting my friends when driving with them, only to have them look at me with utter disgust and told to shut up lol..

I would say Don't worry about it too much and just rebook your G test...btw I failed my G2 3 times! before I finally passed, but I did pass my G on the first attempt ;)

Re: freedom to travel

Following the Laws in the Country you live in is a Must. If you don't like the Law you can try to lobby and change it. However, by thinking elsewise you would only be breaking the Law and be subjected to the consequences.

Also remember that ignorance of the Law is not a defense.

In Canada, you don't have the right to drive without a license or ...

Re: Turning right and got a Red Light Camera Ticket

IMO the best route is to ask for a first attendance meeting and get a reduced fine. These tickets dont have any demerit points and I think they go to the car owner not the driver so you dont need to really worry about insurance implications. Ask for a plea deal of a lesser fine. and just be more cautious next time going through or making right ...

10 years ago!!? Isnt there some sort of time limit or statue of limitations where they can come after you? If not there should be, 10 years is just ridiculous...what happened after the first 5 years? They just forgot about it ?

Re: How to file an 11B

Just wanted to give every one a heads up, the number listed on the sample 16b form is wrong, that is the phone number for the Attorney General of Canada, not the fax number.
So when you go ahead and use it, you should correct it before filing it or it could throw a monkey wrench in your proceedings if the prosecutor picks up on it.

Cheers ...

Re: GPS said to take a Left?

Regarding GPS's I found some suck and some are really Gooood!

For example, I had a Garmin Nuvi 265w which at the time retailed for $200. It was really bad IMO because it would not give the correct route to my house when I would be just a street away and comon sense would tell me to just go straight. Anyway the Nuvi would tell me to make rights and ...
