Driving Motor Vehicle Without Permit..(ownership)

Unread post by Aleem »

Pulled me over because apparently I should have switched into 3rd lane while passing a different officer who had pulled over someone else. It's my parents car and they took out the ownership a day before to renew stickers and I guess forgot to put it back . Can I fight this? Also will this effect my insurance?

Also the officer said it wasn't a moving violation which I don't believe it true .

You'd probably want to request an early resolution meeting (if available). Show them you have the required documents on hand. They might decide to let it slide.

Yes, failure to provide your license, insurance, or vehicle permit on demand will impact your insurance rates.
