Drive Without Proper Headlights - Different Bulb L To R

by: dash88 on

Changed one burntout HID bulb but not the other slightly brighter than the old functioning bulb and a 6000 instead of 8000. Wife got the ticket. Is it because they are a different brightness the ticket was issued. Must be the same brightness? And any points? He said get it fixed and take to court. Could I show up at the police station with corrected lights to avoid trial bs. Happened on Steeles ave w by york u, green colored ticket vs yellow, havent seen a green before, is it a Vauhn district or opp?

Your best option would be to get it fixed and choose 'Early Resolution' meeting. It's not a trial, you're just in a room with the prosecutor and you can show him that you fixed the issue, and your charge may be dropped.

They've been using the green tickets since Mar 2012, and the address to the court house should be on the back of the ticket. If the ticket was by Toronto Police it could be either 32 or 33 division
