15 And Under Tickets

Unread post by Shinra »

Hi All, I have been looking through the forum and found some great info.

I do have a few specific questions regarding my situation.

I've had 2 speeding tickets 4 years ago (15 km/h and under).

This year, including one today I picked up a 14 km/h over and a 15 km/h over tickets. Both officers assured me there are no demerit points on these. ($50 / ticket)

I didn't get a insurance spike for the first 14 km/h ticket which happen last december, but I'm worried that the 0 demerit point 15 km/h ticket I got today will increase my insurance. For the $50 I find it hard to dish out $750 to fight the ticket. Do you think my rates will go up because of this second 15 over ticket?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It's entirely possible, though no one but your insurance company can say for sure what the effect will be. Usually 1 or 2 minor speeding tickets don't have an effect, but you've got more than that, so they may.

NOTHING I SAY ON HERE IS LEGAL ADVICE.
