By "it" do you mean the sticker? The sticker would seem to indicate that I'm paid-up until Nov 2020, but I know that I'm not: I paid $120 which is for 1 year, right? So, from Nov. 2018 to Nov. 2019.

No takers?
OK, then, the legal question: in the case of a disagreement between the physical sticker and the MTO's records, which is taken to be correct?

MTO gave me the wrong sticker - place your bets!
So I have an vehicle which I don't drive over the winter. My birthday is in November. So, to save some cash flow before Christmas, in November 2018 I chose not to buy a sticker, knowing full well that when spring came I would still need to pay the $120 for the period November 2018 - November 2019.

Re: Legality of using hwy acceleration/merge lane to cut traffic
Unfortunately (or fortunately, due to all the left-lane hogging vigilante bandits) passing on the right is not illegal in Ontario.
Personally, I would love to see the government act on this particular issue. Too busy with buck-a-beer I guess

Don't freak out. You are 100% in the clear.
Amber lights have no regulatory meaning, except in the case of tow trucks stopped on the side of the road providing service. (Slow down and move over.))

Re: Minimum Fine For Red Light Camera Ticket? To Ask Prosecutor?
First of all, be aware that your license and insurance aren't affected by a red-light camera ticket. You a charged as the owner, not as a driver.
I don't know about an actual allowable minimum fine, but I can tell you that my wife got hers cut almost in half by pleading the same cause.

What bend said.
But I just wanted to thank the OP for driving with a brain and being self-reflective / aware about these things. This skills seems all to lacking these days.
My kids both ride the bus and I'd say about once a week I see a driver who doesn't stop when meeting the bus, or has to nail the brakes to stop, or winds up stopping in the ...

I held off answering as I certainly don't have much to help you with but I do feel badly for you.
If it were me, I would wonder if somebody found out about your situation and is trying to scam you. I suspect that a visit to the court clerk might help to understand what exactly is going on.

Re: I was involved in a major accident and i don't know if I will be charged or not.
There has been no police report yet and the other party hasn't filed a claim and it's been over 2 weeks now, but my insurance company said they're deeming me at fault until the police report comes in because I made a left hand turn... this is b.s

While I applaud your initiative I also doubt you have much chance of success.

Were you actually ticketed, and if so under what Section of the HTA, and where did this occur?
