Anyone else not seeing responses? Why must subject lines be long?
For the past couple days I can no longer see responses, the site just shows me the original post in any thread. Is anyone else experiencing this?
Also, why is there a minimum length for Subject lines?

Re: Help!! How can i be convicted of driving while suspended when i never knew i was suspended
Just to clarify, you are saying that you have never even been pulled over (in your life?) but your license has been suspended?
If that is truly the case, it sounds like a clerical error to me. These things do happen.
Others here will know the process better than I do, but I would suspect there must be some contact information in this letter, you ...

B) Parking is probihited between 8:30am and 4:30pm while Monday to Friday in July and August are exempted.
I don't think anybody's claiming that the answer is B.
In fact, I don't think any of your options reflect the true (intended) meaning as bent said.

While I agree with bend's interpretation, as a computer programmer I can see how there are challenges with interpreting the logic based purely on reading the sign
There may be regulations which inform us on how to read the sign, of course.

Be repentant and explain your situation. If you get lucky you can get a reduction of the fine and time to pay. My wife got both for an unbeatable red-light-camera ticket, when in a similar circumstance.

Re: HTA 139(1) failing to yield from private drive
The onus is on the driver who is required to yield. Drivers who have the right of way should not have to alter their driving to accommodate those who do not.
While I don't disagree with that, it kind of makes it impossible for somebody whose driveway is very near an intersection to actually comply, no?
I just noticed this morning in my ...

Not an expert, but it strikes me that if you couldn't see the vehicle because it was around a corner, it was not "so close as to constitute an immediate hazard". But I invite the experts to shoot me down!

Regarding the emergency service bill, this is normal in some municipalities and you can pass it on to the insurance company or pay it yourself. The bill is for attending the incident in general, not specific to you, but since you were the "at fault" party you get the bill.

Of course you lose nothing except your time by fighting it, but be aware that nothing you have said so far would seem to indicate that you will win.
You say you stopped, the officer says you didn't. In the absence of other witnesses, who will be believed?
If you decide to fight it, consult the various other threads here about the process.

The best and brightest have spoken, and FWIW I agree with them. As I read your post, you have been convicted, right? So, you need to start an appeal. That's a bit more complicated process, as I understand it, and there are specific time limits, etc. Depending on your comfort level you might consider retaining some help.

Wait a few days and then call the appropriate court house to inquire on the status of the ticket. The officer may notice the issue and not file it.

This is an interesting one, for me anyhow.
Assuming that there is physically room for both vehicles, what's the difference vs. a roadway which was the narrower dimension to start with?
Suspect we're dealing with common law / case law here as opposed to the written law.

One comment to the OP: I believe that your insurance would only consider this "minor" so unless you have other tickets on your record the impact on your premium could be negligible. Check with your provider. You would need to weigh the value of your time to fight it vs. the cost of the ticket.

I can't put my hands on the exact reference right now, but unless things have changed the regulations say that the plate sticker "must" be affixed to the plate, and the expiry sticker "may" be attached to the ownership. Re: What to Expect at Appeal Hearing?
I'm no expert and I'm sure our experts will chime in, but I'm concerned because I think you should have applied for a "re-opening" not an appeal. An appeal can only succeed if there was an error made by the judge / justice during the original trial.
