Re: Keeping Quiet (" Complete Silence") : Police Traff
The issue being raised here is: Why would nexxen90 be pulled over 6 times since Halloween????
Make some notes on the questions you are being asked and see if they are the same over and over. The officers usually are just doing their jobs, but they could be over doing it.
- also could be several different shifts and a different officer assigned ...

Re: Seized my plates, in my driveway.
It would be "Use plates not authorized for vehicle". This is an arrestable offence....that penalty is "$100-$1000 and/or 30 days jail and licence suspension upto 6 mths.TridentX2 wrote: Assuming I got plates from a friend what would I be charged with? Re: Keeping Quiet (" Complete Silence") : Police Traff
shouldn't my comments to the cops be enough.
and people never ever lie to the police
Under the OHTA can the police tow away a vehicle if the driver refuses to confirm they have permission to drive the vehicle? Or in my case just keeping silent.

Re: Service Center Negligence? Section 88-100
. It seems clear to me that the garage that did the safety inspection overlooked the front tires. FURTHERMORE I think the dealership that sold me the car was negligent
You mention a garage and a dealership???
Anyway, call the MTO and by that I mean call a MTO TIS (Truck Inspection Station) and ask if an MTO Auditor can contact you and explain ...

- police presence of 5-10 officers? Orillia is on contract, therefore the OPP must have a minimum amount of officers on each shift to satisfy the contract.
- indicate 4 tickets, but 2 paragraphs down you have a court date. There is no automatic court with tickets, so therefore you received summons for each offence
For summons, disclosure is sent ...

Re: Hydroplane into ditch, careless charge
This why there should be a new section added to the HTA for severity of this type of thing.
- leave roadway $110 and 0 points
- leave roadway causing damage $220 and 3 points
- leave roadway causing injury $325 and 6 points
It is a waste of resources (police, fire, EMS) responding to incidents where drivers can not keep their vehicle on the road.

It looks like all No-Parking Zones in Guelph are only valid if a "Traffic Control Device" (sign) is displayed. .
does not have to be a sign.... here is the definition in the bylaw

malakia2966 - the courts do not go by the current HTA, they use an approved list of set fines.
to find that....google "ontario court of justice"
go to "set fines"
go to "set fines I"
go to "Highway Traffic Act"
scroll all the way to the 2nd last page and schedule B, for speeding is there.
Maybe one of the court gurus on here will know why the ...

Hi folks, hoping you can help me determine if it is correct that Driver 1 (D1) is 100% at fault, or if Driver 2 (D2) is at fault too:
Vehicle going straight has the right of way.
Police log is hard to read but there a note that may say 'slid from A01 to V1 revting 26.3 m' where "revting" appears to be a shortform or I'm an incompetent ...

Re: Suspended Licence question
once the outstanding fine is paid, you have to go to MTO and have your licence reinstated. Take the receipt to MTO (I can not confirm) but would think after the reinstatement fee is paid that the licence is immediately activated.
