An average (regardless of shape/size/sex) eliminates 15mgs of alcohol out of the body in 1 complete hour(60min).....or 7.5mgs out in 30min.
The average standard drink will "input" 15mgs of alcohol INTO the body.
Avg drink is 12oz beer, 1 glass of wine 5oz, 1oz shot.
Thanks for sharing some light on this.

Here is a good reference guide, called a "Drink Wheel", you enter the required information and it will give you a result.

that would be 30mgs......then of course you have some elapsed time I'm sure in that consumption....ie 10-20min at least from end of first drink to end of 2nd, which also starts the elimination process as well

How many drinks before you would register "A" ?
so if each drink is 15mg per 100ml of blood, would that mean some one who has had 2 drinks would have 30mg/100ml and would be safe to drive?

The violation was for qoing through an amber (yellow) light. The ticket says:

The violation occurred on the Quebec side. And there were two (2) other cars who went through the same yellow behind my husband, three if you ...

All Canadian Drivers Are Welcomed! www.OHTA.ca
Hello,
Thanks for your Post.
Just to let you know, Quebec drivers are always welcomed, and any other drivers from Canada, can also take part in this forum.
I think if you were charged with crossing a red light, your best bet may be a plea bargain.
Maybe some other members will share their thoughts about this one.
Thanks again.

Re: fight stop sign
Most likely this type of ticket was issued because you didn't come to a COMPLETE stop at the stop sign. All the officer really has to do is say he witnessed the act. Good luck fighting this in court. Just try a plea bargain IMO.

I dont know why anyone would speed 50 over and think its a safe thing to do.
Our highways were never designed for such speeds.
I am sick of these people cutting me off, as they can hardly control their cars at that speed, and they are doing sharp turns, because they HAVE to or they are gonna hit the guy infront of them who's only doing like 120 ...

Yea I agree, if you are being tailgated then just consider pulling over a lane. Don't get all frustrated and angry, that won't help your situation.

If the passenger jumped out on his own accord while the vehicle is moving, then I don't see how the driver/vehicle would be liable.

Re: failing to show license
No its not the same as the no insurance...
Go to first attendance, and plead guilty, then you will go to see the JP and tell the JP you cant afford this ticket (make up a story), and then he will ask you what you can afford, and just tell him $20.
Other than that theres no real way to get this ticket off.

Re: failing to show license
You could try to show them your license, but usually if you already got the ticket, then they wont get rid of the ticket, but just lower your fine.
Theres no points for this ticket. Your best bet is to try to get a lowered fine.
