Re: Red Light - Fail To Stop

I was under the assumption as if they don't ask, I don't reveal. I'm not lying to them, just not telling them about it. If they ask, I'll be truthful. I've been on the same policy with the same provider for 7 years and not once have they asked me about tickets.

Re: Validation improperly affixed

Haven't seen jsherk around in a while, so I'm gonna take a chapter from his book.

I suggest you plead NOT GUILTY and request a trial with the officer present. Once you get your court date, request disclosure and review the officers evidence. That's the only way you can properly defend yourself. After reviewing the disclosure, you can call the ...

Re: Red Light - Fail To Stop

Please keep topics to one thread.

As for the OTT chances, they have a database on which officer shows up to court or not. My guess is they have 10 cases with that officer, he missed court 6 times, and showed up 4 times, or something along those lines. They actually won't go for a full trial (not to my knowledge) because they get paid no matter ...

Re: Hitting lamp post and fail to report

do you not have a certain amount of time to report an accident,
as long as no-one is injured,?
UK there is not sure about here

in other words you can drive off, as long as you do report it within 24 hours

txs

If the lamp post stayed standing, you could go to a collision reporting centre. Once it obstructs traffic (i.e. cars/pedestrians) then ...

Re: Lidar test before & after means?

I highly doubt an officer is going to come up to your car and say "The reason I'm stopping you is because it's the last day of the month." Usually if you get stopped, it's because either A) You're breaking the law or B) They suspect you're breaking the law. As Argyll posted somewhere before, police have every right to stop you once you're on a ...

That should answer your question. No, they are not included in the work to rule.

Re: Lidar test before & after means?

1) before and after each shift is what the manual says.
2) tested at 7AM and 7PM. Therefore, if you were stopped between that time, it's a valid test.

Re: Ticketed For Parking in a Handicap Spot

Update: Recieved my Notice of Trial today for the 16 of May, 2016. I filed my ticket, pleading not guilty on April 25, 2015. This puts me just over a year. Would an 11b still be possible for this?

Re: Please help I dont know what to do

Given that OP is looking for a reduced charge, he should not have any issues talking to prosecution, talking to the officer won't help him since the officer can not reduce the charge he already filed.

The OP doesn't want a reduced charge, she wants no charge, or a Non-HTA charge. Don't quote me on this, but I remember reading that some bylaw ...

Re: Fax ticket form before JP conviction

I don't know where you got 45 days from. You have 15 days (and I'm pretty sure the officer told you that as well) to select one of the three options. Whether they told you that you can fax the documents or not would be deciding on the jurisdiction. At this point, you will have to file a reopening and plead Not Guilty if it's granted.

Re: Any way to request a trial without going in?

I thought if they filed it, they'd be the ones to fight it. If they only filed it for me, and I represent myself, that would be the best option.
