You have found the American version not Canadian.
I would say they all come with the forks bear, just you don't need them.

Re: Highway speeding

Hi Reflections,

Just for the record I very much appreciate your opinion and I'm always prepared to learn from it. I was presenting an argument that, given the hundreds of vehicles on a section of highway and further given the argument that the office was multitasking and tracking a vehicle behind him, that a reasonable doubt is introduced.

If ...

Re: changing lanes after a right turn

If you are talking about multi-lane roads then just follow the painted lines. If the line are solid, you are not allowed to change lanes, if they are dashed then feel free to move about the roadway. :D

Re: Careless for driving 105 in a 100 zone with some snow on hwy

If driving on snow means I'm careless then we had better stop driving in the winter.

My driving instructor, back in the day, told us drive at a pace that you feel comfortable at. This year will be 17 years of driving for me and I've gone through some serious weather, gotta get to hockey right?? :D

This is Ontario and we get snow every year and I ...

Either way, I don't see you being convicted of careless...it's too hard to prove

Re: Request for Disclosure - Enough Time?

I cannot speak for any paralegal, nor do I want to speculate or comment on their actions. That would be inappropriate. If you have concerns with them, the best thing for you to do is talk to them directly. They'd be able to tell you a lot more than any of us would.

I will offer this, though. If your agent (or anyone else, for that matter) cannot ...

Re: Careless for driving 105 in a 100 zone with some snow on hwy

There is a form at the bottom of every page on this site to get in touch with a paralegal. You do want to fight this as it can really #$%^ your insurance rates.

I do not feel I was driving unsafely. I have had my full license for 10 years and have never been in an accident which I was at fault in, and feel I can judge the safe speed of the ...

Re: What cases become case law?

Can ANY past case be used as case law

This I do know: Yes. Any decided case is (more or less) case law.

Why the court decides to publish certain cases and not others, I don't know. CanLII seems to have some rather uninteresting cases but some of the really important ones that guided and instructed the Justices in those "uninteresting" ones are ...

What do you think? I had the green arrow but as I said it went from green to red and I had no chance to stop.
You had 3 witnesses in your car. Would any one of them be willing to goto court with you?

Re: What can I expect on my trial date?

I was in a single-vehicle collision on October 18, 2009. There were no witnesses to the accident. The Police Officer who arrived at the scene took my statement and charged me with Careless Driving. I requested a Trial Date which has been set for January 8, 2010 in Brampton. I also requested Disclosure which turned out to be a copy of the Officer's ...
