- basically, what is our best option? Our thoughts are that either we find ticket fighters or take option 3 and appear in court ourselves. We do not want demerit points, and lowering/negating the fine would be nice

In the GTA, yes. Red lights don't mean stop in the GTA, they mean, "If you want to make a left wait for everyone else to stop and then do your thing and hold up the opposing traffic".diehard wrote:"STOP" is the new "SLOW DOWN"
my 2 cents.

Re: Out of range LIDAR?
What I need to know is:
a) would an office clerk be bold enough to forge my signature?
---Doubt it......
b) can I request to have the surveillance footage of the office be reviewed to find out who, if anyone, took my disclosure and forged (poorly) my signature?
---
You can ask for anything, just you may not get it. Forgery is a criminal matter ...

Traffic Law has a point. If you don't feel comfortable fighting this ticket yourself, seek some representation. Unfortunately, you have received a ticket and the only way to challenge it is in court.Traffic Law wrote:You should obtain an independed legal advise to become familiar with the allegation against you. There may be issues worth arguing.

I can't believe you got a ticket for 115 there.
I can't believe it either. Good grief... every time I go up to Caledon the flow is at least 115+ through there...
Sound like a "trap" to me. The limit goes from 100-90-80 while still on a controlled access divided highway.

Re: Speeding in QC - 11b Motion
I want to mount an 11b challenge to a speeding ticket I got which has taken nearly two years to go to trial. Problem is the ticket was issued in Quebec and I can't find a notice of constitutional question FORM for that province. It's not the same as the 4F Form in Ontario.
Does anyone know where I can obtain this? (for Quebec)
THANKS!

If you are a Georgian student, I might suggest the "Law in Everyday Life" elective class, if it's still offered. With what you just did an 85-90 is automatic.
