Pretty sure the $60 break he is talking about relates to the fact that you were ticketed for 30km over and not 37km over the posted limit. This isn't indicative of any confusion.
Undoubtedly if you fight this and request disclosure the officers notes will reflect that the speed measuring device was tested in accordance with the manufacturers ...

My bad, OPS is absolutely correct. I had disobey stop sign stuck in my head for some reason. Set fine etc is the same, no points for a red light camera ticket though.OPS Copper wrote:umm red light camera and red light police issued cost the same.

Re: HELP: OPTION 2 - Red Light Camera Ticket
There are no demerit points for a red light camera ticket or photo radar ticket - they are processed in the same manner as parking tickets - against the registered owner of the vehicle regardless of who was operating the vehicle.
This is why it costs three times as much for a red light camera ticket as opposed to one issued by an officer, no ...

Re: Dash Video Camera
I have seen to many of my fellow drivers fall prey to the MTO, and those MTO inspection stations that you pull your trunk into, can tear up your world in no time.
Genuine curiousity here, what do you mean by this? And how would a recording change any of that?
My question here is if I have to go to court, how much weight does my audio-video ...

Typically in exchange for a guilty plea the fine can be reduced and the time to pay it can be extended. Not sure how much of a reduction you would be looking at, but friends who have taken this option say their fine was reduced by $100 or so.

Re: Park interfering with snow removal...
Oh don't get me wrong. I'm not at all up in arms over this.
Parking guy probably doesn't want to clear the snow from dozens of windshields and wedged the ticket into a less obstructed spot. I could second guess the guy, but that's his job and as the OP came on here complaining about the ticket we can assume the ticket did not fly away, and the ...

Ohh you know... like anywhere reasonable... They often carry ziplock bags and put it under the wiper. In all honestly.. they could write the ticket and toss it into the wind, wouldn't matter you'd be fined with it when you went to renew the plates anyways!!
Ok, so aside from under the wipers where else would YOU consider reasonable?
C'mon, it's ...

So to clarify, do you have the "certificate of offence" and the "offence notice" or not? They are individually marked at the top of each ticket.

There are a few different copies of these tickets, you have to be more clear as to which copy the officer gave you.vince2000 wrote:So I got a ticket for this. It doesn't say any demerit points on it does that mean anything? And the officer gave me his and my version of the ticket. Does that mean anything or give me the chance to get off my ticket.

Wow... There are SO many problems with this story. Not the least of which is asking us to believe that you and your beginners licenced cohabitating boyfriend NEVER discussed why he couldn't drive your car, or why you had it towed to your shared apartment.

I would expect that, like the HTA, you can look up the applicable city bylaw online or request it through City Hall. It's not unique to this ticket.

Flu day...trust me...
This is solid advice. The risk is NOT worth 4 hours pay. If you get into an accident while driving on a suspended licence it may invalidate the insurance coverage (even if you're not at fault) in an accident, and your employer would certainly find out if you got pulled for any reason and your suspension discovered ...

At that point, I decided to change my baby's diaper and feed her my breast milk because I wasn't sure how long we'll be stuck at the traffic. As I was trying to nurse her and at the same time trying to change her diaper, my 9 year old daughter who was sitting at the very back in between her two siblings jumped to the baby's car seat with the ...
