Re: Another "Damn Street Racer" busted!

The Officer didn't "have" to do anything. He could have let the guy go, he could have charged under 128, could have written a standard ticket for anything from 0-49km/h over or a myriad of other choices. Instead he takes a "regular" guy who met the magic target and BAM he's screwed. (I could care less he's a firefighter/chief)

Another "Damn Street Racer" busted!

Driving a city vehicle while on vacation must be perk!
I wonder though if the vehicle is impounded or is it in the OPP parking lot for security reasons, like what happened with Habitual Heidi's unmarked car!

Good work Bel! Looks like there might be an opportunity for a breakthrough here. Just one other thing: Should this be a sticky? Just thinking it might get more attention that way. The more evidence we can get to Mr ...

Re: And another reason to strike down S.172

Last week I talked with MPP Mr. Peter Tabuns , He said John Newell's book has many valid points.

He also said he would bring this matter before legislature, but he needs letters from people who have been affected by this law, particularly from the victims of Sgt. Dennis Mahoney-Bruer and from who's been nailed with 172 and been found innocent in ...

Cop suspended with Pay, HTA 172

Exactly why this law is GARBAGE

Another OPP SGT abusing his power, this is the second OPP SGT charged this month with serious charges, both are suspended with PAY, while awaiting their day in court.

I hope the VICTIMS of this crooked cops abuse, seek legal counsel, and sue the a$$ off the Province and the good ole SGT himself!

OPP Officer ...

Re: JP rules - HTA172 violates the charter

Fantino has been an excellent leader for us.

are you sure about that?

Absolutely!!! The best that I have seen at the helm in my career.

All you see is newpaper writings and most times is biased reporting at that. The public does not see the day to day operations and how things have changed for the better for the employees.

I know of Three ...

How do they pass the D.O.T.

Mostly I just avoid these cars as best as I can.

Same here with the exception of two RZ350, 1 was stolen and the next one blew up  , since then only 600cc for me since 87 when the Hurricane came out, every 3-4 years I get new Honda 600, fX2, f2, f4i, 04RR and I just sold my 07RR, no job means no replacement for it :(

I forgot he was a Police officer

It should be noted that OPP Constable Deyell never had his the cruiser impounded, nor was his licence ever suspended, same union appointed legal rep as Constable Tapp?

Re: Charges laid in rural hit and run - dead horse

Well i'm happy they nicked the scumbag!
Stuff like this really gets under my skin.

There was another accident awhile ago, where not one but two horses were killed, the driver wrote the car off, so he had to stick around.
There was no Big story on that!
